SasaCare have been providing services for NDIS Participants, process of becoming an NDIS registered and provide a range of services to NDIS clients to support them to reach their goals and build their capacity. Sasacare was created to support people on the NDIS to support choice and control and ensure their independence is always upheld. Ensuring that all people with a disability have their needs met, goals reached and providing a quality service to all persons.
Qualifications & Experience
Must be able to speak Turkish.
Cert III in Disability, Age Care or equivalent.
NDIS Worker Check.
Current Police Clearance.
Thorough attention to detail.
Excellent written and oral skills.
Good time management skills.
Outstanding interpersonal skills, flexible, patient and ability to relate well to all levels of society that SASA Care interacts with.
Understanding of complex or behaviours of concern.
Ability to develop rapport and convey your message clearly to people with intellectual disabilities.
Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office.
Task & Responsibilities
Personal Hygiene, grooming, manicuring and oral hygiene.
Communicates will all residents effectively.
Maintenance and the fitting of hearing aids and glasses.
Assisting with walking, use of wheelchair and other aids.
Assisting with weekly grocery shopping.
Supports and assist with food and fluids.
Demonstrate empathy and sensitivity to the needs of the client’s ethnic, cultural and religious background.
Ensure the resident’s privacy, dignity and respect are maintained at all times.
Ensure the client does not experience isolation and loneliness unless by choice.
Perform other duties within the scope of preparation and as directed.
